size - too many more and you’d struggle to fit them in for a seated meal. We put on transport to town
and Lincoln for guests who didn’t want to drive - we used Strathmore for the town bus and Lincoln
Shuttles. It’s worth shipping around as Strathmore were nearly half the price of a number of other
quotes. It was ideal for being able to stay in the venue. Our wedding party stayed the night on Satur-
day and they all found that great. The sound system was fantastic for both speeches (with micro-
phone) and music. The central heating was so cosy - especially as we had the doors wide open for the
ceremony in the late afternoon so cold air was coming in. Heated back up straight away. In fact, we
could have turned it down a bit as once the dance floor started it heated up quite quickly.
We have had such a huge amount of genuinely positive feedback about the venue and the caterers
you should be exceptionally proud of what you have achieved in creating a building such as “Saints
of Tai Tapu”. We feel very privileged to have been the first to have had our special day there.
I would say that, without a doubt, every single person that was there commented on how fantastic
the venue was and how it looked with the long table - I think you’ll be busy going forward as a small
intimate wedding venue.
